Stirring mechanisms
Marine propellers
PIL-MIX marine propellers are designed to make the most use of the mechanical force in the liquid.
The blades of the propeller are designed in such a way that the liquid is quickly moved away from the blade without cavitation.
Dispersion discs
Dispersion discs are used in processes where a tearing of the product is desired or where powder is desired to be stirred in liquid without any lumps occurring.
The disc must run at a high peripheral speed, thereby achieving an efficient deviding into fine parts/dispersal of the product.
Flow propellers
PIL-MIX flow propeller are distinguished by a very high circulation per kW.
The blades of the flow propeller are designed to achieve the same flow over the entire length of the blade. This helps to avoid turbulence.
Cross beam turbine
Cross Beam Turbine
Cross Beam Turbines are used for larger tanks, where an even flow is desired throughout the tank.
The flow is primarily axial. Best effect is achieved by several opposite placed impellers.
Anchor Agitators
In cases of vessels/tanks with cooling/heating jacket, there will be a zone at the wall where the temperature difference is greatest. The anchor ensures that this particular area is stirred.
Special impellers
In addition to its large standard program within impellers, Diaf Pilvad also has a wide range of special impellers.
These impellers range from small folding propellers to stirring of products on standard barrels, to large snail organs used for crust mining in biogas plants.
